Congratulations to the New York Yacht Club - winners of the Cornerstone Cup!

The Cornerstone Cup is a Team Race regatta raced between New York Yacht Club, St. Francis Yacht Club, Royal Thames Yacht Club and Royal Yacht Squadron. The regatta is sailed every other year, rotating the host venue between the four clubs. In addition to on-water competition, the four clubs enjoy on-shore camaraderie, each sharing a unique, highly nurtured yachting culture with their sailing brethren.

The format will be a series of Round Robins sailed over the three days of competition.
On each day of the event the score awarded to the winning team in each race shall vary as follows:

  • On 28th September the score shall be 0.5 points
  • On 29th September the score shall be 1.0 point
  • On 30th September the score shall be 1.5 points
If a round robin is started on one day and concluded on the next day, the scores awarded for all races in that round robin will be the score attributable to boats racing on that next day.
If for any reason the final round robin is started on the last day of racing and not finished, the races in that round robin shall not be scored.
