Glasgow Purple qualified directly for the Finals from the Scottish Qualifier having finished 5th.

Glasgow had a rough route to their home finals. After Scottish qualifiers were cut short due to the weather conditions, they finished fifth and were scheduled to compete at playoffs, but were given a reprieve by the snow.
The helms from the team that finished 25th last year in West Kirby have all moved on to other things, so this year's Glasgow team has a fresh look to it. Cameron McCosh has represented Zimbabwe in both Optimists and Lasers, and is in his second year of teams, having sailed for Glasgow Beige last year. His crew Emma Cameron is the most experienced member of the team, having taken part in every finals since 2015. Tom Graham has sailed Lasers and Toppers internationally, but can currently be found several feet above Loch Lomond in a Moth. His crew Sarah Coleman sailed in West Kirby last year. James Hodgson is a late substitute into the team, having sailed for the seconds in qualifiers. His crew Lucy Rawbone is in her second year of teams, having defected from the rowing club.
